Why go private?

Whilst the NHS offers an excellent service wherever possible, patients now have far more choice on how to approach possible concerns with their health.  Best Practice South aims to help patients access treatment and care options for the following reasons:

– The treatment is not available or funded by the NHS, for example cosmetic surgery.

– The treatment required entails waiting a long time – even for an outpatient consultation.

– A second opinion is wanted and needs to be arranged quickly.

– A specific consultant, doctor or therapist is desired.

– Patient wants to be treated in a more private and comfortable environment.

Best Practice has a large number of therapies, treatments and specialists available from our centre in Cowplain.  We also have an experienced team who will help find you the solution your looking for or point you in the right direction locally if we can’t offer an appointment or service on site.

Using private medical insurance or paying for your own treatment

Around 10 – 15% of the population have private medical insurance, often made available via an employer or an individual policy paid for annually.  There is little data available to show how many use their

Many people have a private health care insurance policy which you can use at our facility. Alternatively you may not have private health care insurance cover and choose to pay for your treatment.  Either way we welcome your referral.
